Conspiracy Archive Interview

I'm sure you've watched it, but I recommend watching Terrorstorm. It's available on Google video.

Years ago I sat through a college lecture that in great detail described the step-by-step planning and operations that were used by Otto Von Bismarck to maneuver to an inevitable Franco-Prussian War of 1870. Ingeniously positioned in Bismarck’s conspiratorial doings was The Ems Dispatch, a telegram that had indeed been used by him as some pretext.

I, like a good share of the students in attendance at the lecture, were absolutely fascinated by the sweep of this historic event. However in the next lecture our professor let us in on the secret behind the real purpose of his absolutely convincing presentation. This historical chain of remarkablly arranged events had never occurred.

True, Bismarck had used the telegram, but the entire context of this and the supposed event in history were a bunch of crap.

Our dear professor then proceeded to use his convincing account to expose the techniques that propagandists have long used to muster history in the promotion of their own “Big Lie.” As he had himself done for educational purposes in his previous lecture.

Our professor could well have used the Terrorstorm video in place of his fabricated account of Bismarck’s plotting.

Terrorstorm is a well woven tale with many events that did happened, but the point to which it is directed ain’t so—this video smacks of the same techniques that it would expose in promotion of its own purpose.

First, it is interesting to note, but nowhere in the article or interview above did Terry mention 'Terrorstorm'. It was by Henrik in the Red Ice interview, however.

Next, @A VOICE, if your point about the movie is what I suspect, I may, in fact, agree. But I'd prefer not to guess. Would you care to elaborate? In terms of "propagandists," let's examine that. Is this just about technique and presentation, or content, as well. What is Jones' motivation?

The dark post above is not a part of any vox conspiracy that I know of. Sorry.

Your comment, "But I'd prefer not to guess," would have been a reasonable place for Jones to have started Terrorstorm. But, his video would have soon ended before it got much started.

You asked, "Would you care to elaborate?" That is the intended stopper used by such supposed news vendors as FOX. If you want some elaboration on propaganda, there are tons of material to examine; an interesting start within our mediated times would be with Joseph Goebbels. As for the bending of media, Walter Lippmann might be of interest.

As for myself to yourself, no. If you do not care on your to examine the sweep of this video, I feel no further obligation to caution you. As “must” a see as it may be, so to might it be worth examination.

The question was an honest one. You insult me by comparing it to a tactic by propagandists.

Comments don't seem to be working at the moment.

That fact that I was insulting is not a good reason to let your self be insulted long distance by a boor. It saves time and emotional energy to just buzz them off, and only get offended by people that you really care about--such it love. And as the song goes, “We only hurt the ones we love, the ones we shouldn’t hurt at all.”

The video is propaganda of the “blue cheese” variety. To wit, just because there is blue cheese does not mean that pointing out this fact makes a convincing observation as to the composition of the moon.

The Reichstag fire in Germany on February 27, 1933 had no more to do with the events that occurred in the United States on September 11, 2001 than did the driving of the golden spike at Promontory Summit in northern Utah on May 10, 1869.

Someone that suffered more closely from the events of 9/ll might get upset by the contention that either of these incidents are related to the circumstance that effected their loss. True, they should not let themselves get bent out of shape, but their reaction could be more understandable than anything either of us suffers via a blog.

I find your posts thought provoking, and when I think, I think what I think. True, I do not need to say what I say, particularly in insult of someone that I too have not reason to take offence with.

Have a Merry Christmas.

You're right in terms of not getting bent out of shape, of course. I appreciate all your feedback. Merry Christmas!

In the interest of full disclosure - I did go to school with someone who died on one of the planes that day. We weren't friends, but acquaintences ... and it still burns me up.

Voice gives Occult of Personality a well deserved apology. Not being familiar with the social niceties of apologies, this inadequate attempt will have to do.

I am damn sure that it will not fool Santa, so I will likely get my annual lump of coal.

Enjoy,

Sam

Apology accepted and appreciated.

If anything, I work to distinguish myself as someone who's only agenda is curiosity. Academia, the media, and religious institutions fail to satisfy mine and I'm a bit sensitive when considered in the same realm.

It is likely Santa is just as, if not more, forgiving than I am, so here's hoping coal doesn't await you. ;-)

Peace.

Hey... incidentally, what do you guys make of this "slip-up" captured off ABC? :

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/79X3nfa-m6I"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/79X3nfa-m6I" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

there's something here, i know it, now whether I'm learned enough to tease it out, is another matter...
